Golden Safety Rules

To foster a culture of safety and accountability, SATORP has defined nine Golden Safety Rules that every employee and contractor must follow. These rules are designed to prevent incidents, promote awareness, and ensure a consistent standard of safe behavior across all operations. By adhering to these principles, we collectively uphold our commitment to safety excellence.

Personal Protective Equipment

Protective Equipment is worn to minimize exposure hazards that cause serious workplace injuries and illnesses resulting from contact with chemical, radiological, physical, electrical, mechanical, or other workplace hazards.

Management of Change

A management system to identify, review, and approve all modifications before implementation to ensure that changes are properly analyzed.

Vehicle and Mobile Equipment

The measures used to prevent road users from being at risk or seriously injured.

Working at Heights

Working in elevated areas requires providing fall protection systems, including fixed and personal fall arrest systems.

Disabling Safety Systems

The overriding or deactivating of critical safety equipment during operation and maintenance activities.

Confined Space

A place that is not designed for people. It can be large enough to enter and perform specific jobs. It has limited or restricted means for entry or exit and is not designed for continuous occupancy.

Work Permit

Working in elevated areas requires providing fall protection systems, including fixed and personal fall arrest systems.

Energy Isolation

Safe Isolation of plant and equipment reduces the risk of any hazardous substance release to prevent potential incidents.

Lifting Operation

Lifting Operation concerns load movement, raising or lowering items comprising equipment or people.
